UAPublic WiFi Port Limited

Overview

There are port and protocol restrictions on the type of traffic allowed through UAPublic -- this means that certain network applications may or may not work on UAPublic when they will work on UAWiFi. Standard web browsing and applications which use the following ports should work on UAPublic.

If you have an application which requires a different port or protocol, please consider using UAWiFi instead, which is more secure and does not have port restrictions. If you are University of Arizona affiliated and have a need for an additional exception to be made for the port restriction list, please open a ticket by contacting our 24/7 IT Support Center.
