Web Hosting on W6 - Linux/Apache/cPanel
UITS offers basic web hosting on a Linux host running cPanel.
Website hosting is available for UA departments, organizations and faculty, for university-related websites. Personal sites are limited to academic related sites.
Students and student groups should look at the U system, Google Sites, or ASUA. See the Web Hosting Overview for student options.
If you are faculty or staff, and you want to manage your own university-related website, and simply need a place to host it, this is the recommended option for you.

W6 is a production web server and is generally available 24/7 year round. Periodic maintenance may require occasional down time.
The basic service is provided free of charge. A 10GB disk quota upgrade is available for $135/year. If you have storage needs above 10GB, please contact UITS.

- UITS reserves the right to disable public access to sites if they become compromised or defaced.
