Wireless Data Connectivity (UAWiFi)

UA WiFi Mapis the University of Arizona campus primary, secure 802.11a/b/g wireless network, covering more than seven million square feet of indoor and outdoor space. Visit the 2013 UA Campus WiFi Map for an update to WiFi coverage on campus.


eduroam offers the same speed and security benefits as UAWiFi to visitors from participating institutions who log in with their institution's credentials. See the eduroam page for more information.

UAPublic is a FREE unsecured wireless network provided as a public service for those without official UA sponsorship or affiliation. It is available in most campus public spaces.  Most devices will automatically connect to UA Public. 

If you are a visitor from an institution in the eduroam consortium, log in to the eduroam wireless network rather than UAWiFi Public for a secure connection.

The following restrictions apply to UAPublic

Most of your average Internet programs will work on UAPublic, however there are restrictions on UAPublic and they are based on what ports are open
