As team lead for server support in WNC I am responsible for supervision, planning and implementation of services and infrastructure for campus entities taking advantage of UITS' desktop support offerings. We work closely with UITS desktop support consultants who are assigned to departments to assist them with supporting the departments desktop computing needs. This includes operation of web, database, file and print servers. My team is also responsible for centralized operating system patching, application patching, anti-virus and anti-spyware services which includes the installation, configuration and monitoring of these services on our clients systems. We also supply centralized services for data backup, hardware/software inventory, workstation configuration, and managed OS and application deployments. I have been involved in computer support in both the private and public sector since 1984. I began my career at the University of Arizona in 1989. I have had the opportunity to work with many interesting people at the University over the years. I look forward to working with many more in the future so that the University may excel as it moves forward to take full advantage of opportunities and to meet current and future challenges.
