What You Need to Know
Whether you are a high school student planning your future, a transfer student completing your degree goals, working adult focused on improving your value in the workforce, or a retiree who wants to stay sharp and active through lifelong learning, the University of Arizona welcomes you. We want you to thrive during your UA Campus experience. To support your academic success the 24/7 IT Support Center is your one stop location to find information about the technology services available to you.
24/7 IT Support Center - Provides IT support services for our students. The 24/7 incorporates all aspects of service needed to support and fulfill the mission of providing computer resources to the University’s academic community. This includes, but is not limited to: appropriate availability and accessibility; current computer hardware and software technologies; and proficient technical and operational support staff (both student and full-time).
CatMail - Students at the University of Arizona are automatically given a CatMail email account when creating their NetID (netid @ email.arizona.edu). If you prefer, you can also send and receive email using netid @ catmail.arizona.edu. It will access the same account. This email address is the official means of communication between the University and students.
Desire2Learn (D2L) - Is a course management system (CMS). It is a relatively easy way to create a course website. D2L allows access ‘anytime, anywhere’ to syllabi, readings, multi-media files, electronic drop boxes, online quizzes, email, grading, student progress reports, project files, etc.
OSCR Computer Labs – The Office of Student Computing Resources (OSCR) supports several General Computing Labs on the UA campus. Located in the north, central and southern parts of campus, these labs provide students and other University community members with access to Windows and Macintosh computers. All lab computers contain an extensive set of productivity software along with many other commonly used applications. The locations also contain specialty software specific to the needs of students taking certain classes.
Student Services - From your online course materials (D2L), to your email (CatMail), to your registration, bursar's account, and grades (UAccess), you will need to be online and we can help.
UAccess Student - Is your connection to managing a wide range of activities – from managing courses, seeing grades, making payments, viewing academic records, and much more!
